2022 (Ongoing): Development of low cost print metrological devices

The primary aim of the research project was to create an accessible and less expensive method for print density measurement by utilizing a flatbed scanner and advanced regression models. This approach was intended to democratize quality control in printing by providing small and medium-sized print shops with a tool that could substitute for traditional, costly densitometers. The research also aimed to compare the effectiveness of different machine learning algorithms in predicting print density based on scanner data, thereby optimizing the accuracy and reliability of this novel method. 2022-2023: Investigation of UX/UI usability constructs on user decision making for mobile food ordering apps

The aim of this research project is to develop and validate a comprehensive framework of usability constructs and indicators tailored specifically for mobile food ordering applications (MFOAs) in India, and to investigate how these usability factors influence user purchase decisions. By leveraging this framework, the project seeks to enhance the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design of MFOAs, thereby improving user satisfaction, engagement, and conversion rates in the rapidly expanding Indian m-commerce sector.
